The doubling thresholds

You pay for every card left in hand, but holding a lot costs extra: eight or more doubles, ten or more triples, and a full thirteen quadruples. That is why players dump cards late rather than sit on them.

Set what one card is worth in settings. Three or four players both work; the winner collects the sum of what everyone else owes and the books balance automatically.

Common questions

How is this different from Pao De Kuai?

Big Two deals thirteen cards to four players from a full deck; Pao De Kuai usually strips the deck and deals sixteen to three players, with different doubling rules. Both are here — pick the right one.
