Tallyo (tallyo.games) is an online scorekeeping tool. Questions about this policy: jackjia6@gmail.com.
What you type in: room titles, player names, per-round scores and game settings. Anyone with the room code or link can view that room, so please keep sensitive information out of it.
A device identifier: a randomly generated ID kept in your browser’s local storage, used to group the tables started on this device into a running record. It contains no personal information.
Sign-in info (optional): if you sign in with Google or an email link, we receive your email address and basic public profile (name, avatar) via Supabase Auth. We never see or store your password — with Google sign-in there is no password involving us at all.
Analytics: anonymous statistics via Vercel Web Analytics (page views, coarse region, device type). No advertising cookies, no personal tracking.
Data is stored with Supabase (database) and Vercel (hosting), both industry-standard cloud services.
We use data to provide, maintain and improve the service, including statistics and analytics. Once the site carries advertising, we may also — to the extent permitted by law — use usage data for ad-related measurement and analytics, and share what is needed for that with advertising partners (see the next section). Aggregated or anonymised data that can no longer identify anyone may be used freely.
We use browser local storage for: the device identifier, your language choice, your sign-in session and the scorer permission for your own rooms.
The site may show advertising to stay free. When it does, advertising partners (such as Google) may use cookies or similar technologies to collect identifiers and browsing information in order to serve, personalise and measure ads, subject to their own privacy policies. Where the law requires it, we will ask for your consent first and provide a way to manage or turn off personalised ads.
Clearing this site’s data in your browser removes the on-device record. To delete your account and its data, email jackjia6@gmail.com and we will take care of it.
Tallyo is a scorekeeping tool and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Changes to this policy will be posted on this page with an updated date.
